Update (12/16): We need to have 20 people register and pay the $70 deposit by 12/24 (Christmas Eve). That’s our deadline to cancel without losing our deposit for the barn. In other words, if we don’t have 20 peeople registeredby that date, we will most likely cancel the trip. As of Monday night, we had 9 people (including myself) express interest. We’ve booked a weekend at the King’s Barn for a Ski Trip. I’ve been to this lodge and its really ideal–exactly what you’d want in a “ski lodge” kind of place. And Elk is one of the best mountains around. Here’s the details:
Date: Saturday January 27 to Sunday January 29, 2012
Location: Elk Mountain (visit the Elk Website)
Accomodations: The King’s Barn (Barn wesbite)
(Approximate) Cost: $200
Details: We’ll leave at 4:00 pm on Friday and return to church around 7:00 pm on Sunday (to make it for the prayer meeting).
