The guys at the Camp at Old Mill (where we were last weekend) asked me to let our group know about a ministry opportunity coming up with them. The Camp is maintained by the ministry of County Corrections Gospel Mission, which uses the camp for year-round ministry to at-risk children from the city of Coatesville. Many of you have been with us to help run one of the ministry’s day camps we do every summer for these kids. In June the ministry has its own camps, with two separate weeks for two age groups from June 17-22 and June 24-29. This year especially, they’re looking for camp counselors to help run the camp. If you’d like to spend some money and time to serve Jesus in a real, vital ministry, you may want to pray about joining them for one or both of their weeks.
As their brochure says: “We take what we do here very seriously and know that we can do nothing without the help of the Lord and faithful people like yourself. Please be in prayer (even now) that the Lord would do a mighty work during the two weeks of camp! “
